Decided to do a series of experiments and studies on mood and effects from various color palette strategies on a subject quite fond of mine.  After all...I live in a region of NE Wisconsin that boasts of being the waterfalls capital of our state. In this one, I wanted to limit the light hitting the water, try to minimize detail of water to capture more motion.  My aim is by doing a series of instudio studies, perhaps I can guide more of the moment painting on location where I most often paint these.
