This painting is on heavy canvas...wonderful thick stretcher frames, and was a delight to paint on. A reddish undertone and classic way of approaching a light filled subject. This painting is part of an on-going series of perhaps a dozen similar sized paintings of waterfalls representing northern Wisconsin and various locations of upper Michigan.  To my knowledge, I don't believe any artist has had an exhibition of this subject in the northern Midwest.
