After near completing my
first DVD video demonstrated the painting of a waterfalls, I
decided I needed to stretch my wings and take a much needed
break. This was a heavy canvas...wonderful thick
stretcher frames, and a delight to paint on.
A reddish undertone and
classic way of approaching a light filled subject. Intentions
from this weigh heavily toward producing a series of perhaps a
dozen similar sized paintings of waterfalls representing
northern Wisconsin and various locations of upper
Michigan. To my knowledge, I don't believe any artist
has had an exhibition of this subject in the northern Midwest.
